Lakebank progress report
Work continues on developing the scenery of the layout. I have been turning my thoughts to the stock needed and we now have a passenger train.
The two etched brass coaches are 3mm society L&Y kits- a brake third and a composite. They were started many years ago and I have finished hem off mainly with adding the various castings and detailing the roofs. They now need painting!
The third coach is a LNWR low roof brake third. This was scratch built in plasticard to 12mm gauge over 20 years ago. It has just been re-wheeled with 14.2mm gauge ones.
In this picture the steam yacht ‘Esperance’ can be seen on the lake which is yet to be painted!
