Nicks workshop mutterings

Various railway orientated modelling projects in my new workshop/railway room.

Eggesford-progress 1

Well the first lot of 14.2 trackwork has been laid. I have used the 3mm Society Finescale track and made up the points on Templot templates with a mixture of society chairs on plastic sleepers (Evergreen strip) and soldered copperclad which will eventually have cosmetic chairs added. I have managed to connect the points up to the existing wire in tube point actuation and re-used the existing wiring so some trains have already been running.

The plan now is to continue to replace the tracK on the scenic boards and then think about the storage yards.
